15 May AIA Conference on Architecture & Design — June 4–7 in Boston, USA
The Pan American Federation of Associations of Architects (FPAA) will actively participate in the AIA Conference on Architecture & Design® 2025 (AIA25), to be held from June 4 to 7 at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center. Representing the Federation will be its president, Arch. María Samaniego Ponce, and executive secretary, Arch. Tania Salgado, who will join this space for international exchange alongside colleagues from across the continent.
AIA25 is positioned as the most significant event of the year for the architecture, design, and construction industries. Organized by the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the conference offers a unique opportunity for professionals from across the Americas.
The program includes:
-Over 450 educational sessions on topics such as sustainability, innovation, technology, professional practice, and urbanism.
-Keynote lectures by prominent public and academic figures, including Pete Buttigieg, Allie K. Miller, and Dami Lee.
-Guided tours and open studios, featuring more than 80 visits to iconic buildings, architectural offices, and key urban spaces in Boston, led by local professionals.
-Complementary activities such as the AIA Awards Gala, themed gatherings, events for professional communities (LGBTQIA+ Happy Hour, Women in Leadership Luncheon, among others), and institutional visits.
-AIA25 Expo, on June 5 and 6, showcasing over 600 leading brands in the industry, with educational programming integrated into the exhibition space.
These activities represent an opportunity for professional development, peer exchange, and access to the latest trends and innovations in contemporary architecture.
The FPAA celebrates and promotes international initiatives like this, which strengthen ties between professionals from the Americas and around the world. We invite architects, designers, engineers, interior designers, landscape architects, young professionals, and studio leaders to be part of this transformative event.
