In the present year 2023, the Society of Architects of Uruguay will launch the call for entries to the 2023 Completed Works Competition (COR2023), following on from the previous edition, which is open to all Uruguayan and foreign architects who have completed works in the country's territory.

The purpose of the competition is to reflect the greatest diversity of programs and scales of realization, as well as locations in the territory, as it is the express will of SAU to achieve the widest participation and achieve the greatest territorial equity. Meanwhile, the objective of the award is to value, strengthen criticism and promote the dissemination of quality contemporary national architecture, while disseminating the value of architecture and urbanism in the cultural development of Uruguay.
