Pan-American Congress of Architects

The Pan-American Federation of Architects Associations (FPAA) brings together 586 associations from 32 countries distributed in 5 regions, with a universe of almost 1 million architects. Created in 1920, as a result of the First Pan-American Congress of Architects held in Montevideo, Uruguay, it celebrated its first 100 years of life with a historic Congress that was broadcast virtually around the world.

The virtual congress is organised around thematic lectures given by leading figures from each FPAA region with a strong presence in professional practice. The diversity of views on complex realities shows the potential of the Federation as a community builder, reflecting the uniqueness of each place and each experience. A fine-tuning of the reality of Pan-American Architecture projected into the future with the new generations of professionals.
