America Forum: A Collaborative Space for Ibero-American Architecture

The Americas Forum was inaugurated in April 2023 as a result of a multi-year collaborative relationship between the Pan American Federation of Architects Associations (FPAA) and the School of Architecture of the University of Navarra.

This forum is presented as a framework collaboration agreement, to which national schools, universities and other associations in the Americas that share its three fundamental objectives can easily adhere.

To achieve these objectives, various activities, courses and exhibitions will be held to enable professors, students and professionals to establish fluid and mutually beneficial relationships, as well as to enhance the visibility of the universities in the different participating countries.

  1. Training of Professionals: Together with the architects' associations, Forum America seeks to promote the training of professionals, adapting to the specific needs of each member country.
  2. Promotion of Research in Ibero-American Architecture: Doctoral degrees for local architects will be promoted, allowing them to continue their professional or teaching careers without interruption.
  3. Collaboration with Local Universities: Universities are key entities in fostering research and training. The Forum seeks to establish a framework of trust and collaboration among universities throughout the Americas that wish to participate.

  • Director of the Americas Forum: Fredy Massad
