María Samaniego, president of the FPAA and honorary president of this third edition of the La Réunion International Biennial of Tropical Architecture, opened the session with a lecture marked by a strong Pan-American accent. During the event, she was also recognized for her recent election in Mexico as president of our Federation.
In this edition of BIAT, the guest continent is America, with the participation of architects from Colombia, Ecuador, Martinique and Venezuela. Habitat professionals from Australia, Burkina Faso, Sri Lanka, Mayotte, Indonesia and La Réunion complete this edition dedicated to tropical architecture.
