03 Dec Highlights of the XX Peruvian National Architecture Biennial
The event continued to be well attended. Throughout the days, a series of keynote lectures have been held on various topics, such as the intersections of territory, the dispute for historical centrality, historical implications in urban heritage contexts, landscape explorations and the role of citizens in the creation of better cities.
The Biennial was attended by renowned speakers from Bolivia, Colombia and Mexico, who, together with local exhibitors, participated in enriching discussions that broadened the debate on architecture and the city.
During the conference, special awards were presented to the speakers by the national dean of the Peruvian Association of Architects (CAP), Architect Lourdes Giusti, and the dean of the Arequipa Regional CAP, Architect Juan Francisco Melgar.
A great learning and inspirational event!
