The Instituto de Planeación Integral del Municipio de Chihuahua (IMPLAN) and the Federación de Colegios de Arquitectos de la República Mexicana (FCARM) are collaborating in the development of a Master Plan for the Río Nilo Park. This plan seeks to activate the public space and promote reforestation to improve the quality of life and community identity.
FCARM is committed to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and seeks to create enabling environments for the full participation of all people in society. The design of the Master Plan must be adapted to the urban, socio-cultural and environmental context, promoting community activities and healthy living. Recognition will be given to projects that provide universal access to safe and inclusive services, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals.
