XVII National Congress of Architects - CONARQ 2021

As Peru celebrates two centuries of republican life, it is necessary to take a critical look at the cities that have developed in the country and the social gaps that exist between them.

In this context, the College of Architects of Peru, through the National Council and the Cusco Regional Council are organising the XVII National Congress of Architects of Peru: Architecture and the City from the Bicentenary onwards. 200 years of construction of the Peruvian habitat: evaluation and new directions.

This will be a space for reflection on our relationship with our habitat, our cultural heritage and our dwellings, analysing how citizens and the State act on these points and what is the work of Peruvian architects in this context.

Three thematic axes will be developed: The built habitat and the territory, Housing problems and current dynamics, and The built cultural heritage.

Activity organised by the College of Architects of Peru. More information here.
